December is all about ending the year with some oomph and these celebs sure do know how to do it via Fashion Covers!

The December Covers of GQ, Vogue and Elle magazine were adorned by Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor, respectively. Going for some dominating Gold shades and a contrast of a splash of colours, the tressy work seemed rather apt for each one!

Sonam Kapoor For Elle - Wispy Chignon

Sonam Kapoor's Wispy Chignon here is surely one of the hairdos in demand this season. Not so long ago, Deepika Padukone was spotted donning the same hairdo, during the Finding Fanny promotions.

Get the look here

Katrina Kaif For Vogue - Messy Tresses

Katrina's hairdo on this cover does display Messy but also shouts Glam!

We love how the side swept hair has the element of being less textured yet wavy and stylish.

If you're looking for an easier way to get this look, try scrunching your hair right after a day of washing them.

Anushka Sharma For GQ - Textured Waves Meets Messy Locks

Anushka Sharma's Gold dominating cover has the Oomph factor scribbled right over it!

The Textured Waves teamed well with a dash of messiness totally takes the cake here.

How can you get this look? Just style your hair with some waves and lightly scrunch them with your hands. Voila!

10 Things You Don't Want To Hear After A Haircut!

After the much awaited haircut that you've wanted since forever and you LOVE so much, some much unwanted words can be such a Kill-Joy!

Here are a few things you should steer clear from when talking to someone who has just chopped their tresses!

"OMG! Nooooo.... How could you do that?!"

Ahem.. my hair!

"Why would you want to cut your 'long' hair that short???"

Um.. Still my hair and Split Ends, you know.

"They look nice, but it doesn't suit you.."  #sigh

Your thoughts are supposed to be in your head! Also, your opinion doesn't matter!

"Don't you miss your long hair?"

Stop reminding me! The agony of missed-long-hair and the joy of new-short-hair is confusing me!

"Did you even cut your hair?"

Did you forget to wear your specs?

"You spent Rs. 2000 on this?!"

...Which you didn't pay for.

"It makes your face look fat!"

So more hair equals to less weight. #F**kLogic!

"It doesn't suit your dressing style"

*still finding obnoxiously mean words to answer this*

"You look Mentally Retarded!"

How about I behave like one too?

After the nightmare of a haircut...
"Did you cut that YOURSELF?!"

Bye forever now!

PS: No matter how DISASTROUS they maybe! DO NOT!

A tressy version of a hairband and quite pretty too, this Undercut braid can be tied with your hair left loose or with a chignon.

The dual ones like Scarlet Johansson's here is very modish and different. You can also experiment with the left over hair by going for textured waves or tying it up in a ponytail.

Undercut Braid like Carmen Electra's here is surely Electrifying!

Neat, chic and stylish!

Kristen Stewart here has managed to add a twist to the already fancy Braid with dimensions.

Going for some Under-Undercut Braid, we like how the intricate part remains hidden and the segments are shown.

Easy Hair Hacks By Celebrity Stylists

Ever been in a situation where you've seen the best celebrity hairdo and have wanted the exact same look, but alas! it was just too difficult or impossible!

Here are some easy Hair Hacks by Celebrity Stylists that may help you!

Perfect Curls

How can you achieve those perfect curls? Keep all those tongs, curlers aside and bring on the dirty, second-day hair.

Curling iron works best on hair that hasn't been freshly washed. So if you're planning on curling your hair, wash and blow dry them the night before.

Those curls next day will work out much better.

Bye Bye Frizz!

Suffering from the after wash frizz, here's the solution.

Post the hair wash, towel dry it by pressing and twisting sections of your hair with a towel. Avoid rubbing your hair, that may cause some nasty frizz.

Hello Volume!

For some gorgeous volume, blow dry your hair upside down.

That extra body in your hair will be instant.

Post Blow Dry Frizz

After setting your hair well instead of jumping right to the hairspray, blow dry it one last time with some cool air.

The post blow dry frizz would never be a problem again!

Flyaway Problems

While attaining that sleek hairdo, the little strands that always get loose aka flyaways seem to be quite the problem.

Good riddance from them by simply putting some hairspray onto your brush. Slide that brush through your strands to let the flyaways stay.

Textured Waves Perfected

Textured Waves are quite in demand and why not they're fancy too.

So if you've been struggling to get them right, here's a trick.

Braid segments of your hair first  flat iron each braid and then let them loose.

Bobby Pins Dilemma

If you're having issues letting your bobby pins stay in your tresses, just spray some hairspray onto them.

They'll hang in there just fine.

Sonakshi Sinha - Bob All The Way!

Sonakshi Sinha seems to have finally bid adieu to her long locks and added some zing by saying a hello to Long Bobs!

The Dabangg actress chopped off her trademark long hair, which she sported for years, and we must say so far she has managed to carry them off pretty well.

In one of her first appearances, Sona went for the chic straight hair that not only complimented her attire but also accentuated her features and newly chopped hair.

While at promotional events, the actress opted for a more casual clothing and finished the look by adding some messiness to her almost straight tresses. The fringe swept sideways, being the hero here!

And at a recent awards night, Sonakshi made that hairdo with the Red Carpet Gown. Going for some curls with a side parting, she made the look work splendidly well.

Glad to see the actress experimenting with her Lob and trying out as much as she can.

All we can say is, 'May The Force Be With You!'

Top 10 Boho - Chic Hairdos

Boho seems to be in demand these days and with newer hairdos making its way, here are a few that can be worn both for casual as well as formal dos.

Check it out!

The Classic French Braid

So the classic French Braid has been a favorite of many, but what makes it super Boho? The touch of messiness done with much finesse here.

Wear it on a casual day and you are sorted my friend!

The Red indian Braid

The Red Indian Braid consist of three braids. Great when you have extensions or coloured hair. Those who don't, can add a twist by adding some coloured extensions or perhaps even coloured thread.

Boho Hair-Band

This may take just two minutes and is really stylish too.

Just take a chunky segment from a little below the crown section, braid it, take it across your forehead and you're done!

Messy Knot

This may seem messy but has been a favorite at formal events too.

Segment your hair the way you do it for the braid, start by slightly tucking them from the side sections and knot them. Put some Bobby Pins to let it stay.

Crown Braid

This hairdo is literally a french braid tied diagonally.

Classy for formal and casual dos.

Chain Braid

Start off with a diagonal french braid and go on till you form a 'U'.

This hairdo may take sometime to get done. Add some hairspray to let it stay.

Braid Chignon

From the center parts braid your hair loose from the sides and tuck with bobby pins. The remaining hair can be tied in a loose chignon secured with some more pins.

Spray enough hairspray for it tp stay.

Bobby Pin Hairdo

Coming down to some creative hairdos, this has been quite a hit.

Take some colourful bob pins and tuck the side sections of your hair with 5 to 10 of them.

If you're planning this for a formal event, you can opt for the glittery or studded bob pins too.

Ribboned Fishtail Braid

Along with the segments of your hair that need to be braided add some colourful ribbons or even threads if you'd like. Start off just the way you a neat fishtail braid.

The colours would make for a fancy look, totally chic.

Elegant bun With Mini Braids

Perfect for an event like a wedding, this can be quite easy actually.

Just segment the crown section and tie a braid. Place it a cross path fashion.

Add a little puff to the loosened tressses by backcoming and finish it the look by tying a bun.

Hairspray to let it stay.
