Home remedies for your hair

We live in a time where we are constantly trying to manage our time, our diets and our emotional well-being. A healthy balance of the same can be beneficial to our lives but stressing about keeping up that balance can be detrimental to our health, skin and hair. This is often the cause of brittle hair, dullness and hair loss. While we may try the latest of treatments, products and heat stylings; it may cause more good than bad in the long term. That is when we can turn to the age-old home remedies that have been passed through the generations and use the most natural and purest of ingredients. Today we will be covering a few of these remedies that are trusted potions and use ingredients that can be found in your kitchen itself.

Coconut Oil: Known for its miraculous properties, coconut oil is a multipurpose potion and comes first on our list. Warm a small portion of coconut oil and massage it into your scalp and the ends of your hair. Tie your hair together with a warm towel and leave it for an hour or two. Make sure to wash it off thoroughly after and you will noticed your now nourished hair.

Apple Cider Vinegar: It makes for a great clarifying rinse for the scalp. All one has to do is take a few capfuls of the vinegar, dilute it in half a tumbler of water. Once your bath is finished, pour the diluted vinegar solution over your head and massage it gently into your scalp. You will find your scalp feeling cleaner and your hair lighter.

Aloe Vera: The pulp of the Aloe Vera plant is famed for its beneficial properties and in the hair care sphere, it is known to restore the PH balance of ones scalp. On a regular basis, use the raw pulp of the alow vera plant and massage it into your scalp. After leaving it to sit for 30 minutes in your hair, continue with your bath as per usual. You will find your hair much healthier.
