Winter Hair Spa Home Remedies

With Winter here, your skin needs that extra moisture to keep it hydrated and so does your hair. And with all the styling already in line for the party month, your tresses need all the pampering it can get. 

So here are a few 'Winter Essential Masks' that can do wonders for your hair.

Hydrating Mask

Honey is naturally known to attracts and locks in moisture.

- Mix half a cup of honey with one egg yolk.
- Massage it into hair and let it sit for 30 minutes. 
- Rinse and wash hair as normal.

The egg yolk helps replenish any lost keratin from the hair. Recommended for sun or heat damaged hair. 
Repeat the mask once a month for gorgeous locks!

Warm Olive Oil Hair Mask

Simplest of all hair treatments, and believed to be one of the most effective. The rich moisturizing properties make it apt for use on dry hair.

- Heat the olive oil for around two minutes without letting the oil boil. 
- Add two drops of lavender oil or any other scent. (optional)
- Apply the oil mixture to your hair, starting at the roots and massage.
(For extremely dry hair, leave the oil on overnight. For normal hair, leave the oil on for an hour.)
- Rinse with warm water and shampoo.

This treatment is an essential one for hair dried out by the harsh winter weather.
Recommended once a month for hydrated, soft hair.

Banana and Egg Mask

Help your tresses bounce back with this mask.

- Mash one banana, half avocado and one egg.
- Add in two tbsp of honey and three tbsp of olive oil.
- Apply to your hair from the roots section onward.
- Leave in for 30 minutes and rinse out.

Recommended twice a month for gorgeous hair with great volume!
