Hair Care Tips Post-Holi

All set for the Holi weekend? Holi is super fun! However, the trouble starts post Holi. Getting rid of the colour and the dirt, especially from the hair is a daunting and a scary task.

Following is some of the post Holi hare care we suggest.

1) Avoid using hot water to wash your face and hair. Replace it with lukewarm water instead. Soak funegreek seeds in four table spoon of curd and apply to the scalp for not more than 20-30 minutes.

2) First, wash your hair with plenty of water and than apply a mild shampoo to get rid of the colour and dirt from your hair and then use a conditioner to lock in the moisture.

3) One can also use some natural homemade hair packs to get rid of the damage and frizz. For example, after the wash, make sure that you apply lemon juice to the hair and scalp. This will restore the essential acid-alkaline balance in your hair.

4) Apply hair oil after the hair dries. This is to ensure that the hair remains hydrated and does not loose its moisture. The added benefit is, applying oil will also nourish the scalp.
